Who would’ve thought that a dating app could change your life? That’s right folks, we started our relationship back in 2015 on a dating app! Ryan had seen Yva’s profile at 1:29 AM in the morning and noticed a cheeky line that Yva wrote of “…it doesn’t matter what time it is I will reply ;)”


Ryan looked at the clock laughed and said we will see about that and sent simple message stating he was testing out that line she wrote In minutes, Yva responded! And well, this rest is history!


Between many dates, concerts, hockey games, a Disney trip, and of course countless food experiences, we realized that we couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Pushing each other to experience life in new and exciting ways, while simultaneously journeying through its challenges and tribulations like emergency surgery and flooded apartments and a global pandemic!


Through all of it we maintained laughter and good spirits because we have each other, and so at 9 years together on August 10th 2024, we were engaged!


While we knew we were life partners well before that, the thought of getting married in front of family and friends was too powerful to miss out on.


So on August 8th 2026, in the place where Ryan grew up, we are ecstatic to invite you to witness two people who were strangers that became best friends, and now will continue their journey in life as Husband and Wife
